It is with great pleasure to announce that a total of 85 countries with 4262 athletes and officials have confirmed participation in Taipei. The 2009 Summer Deaflympics are scheduled to take place in Taipei from 5th to 15th of September. The ICSD Congress will take place for two days on 3rd and 4th of September at Sheraton Hotel Taipei.ICSD is pleased to recognize that there will be 1670 new first-time Deaflympics participants
